Sign Me Up!
Before an offline show, you have a list of friends and acquaintances you would like to invite. Also it is nice to have guests RSVP so that you know they are interested in attending. The same with the internet. The difference is that we use an email address and the list is kept in order on the computer.
There are many options for you to use to keep your list online, here are a few common ones by cost and level of difficulty:
-MailChimp - Easy and Free for up to 2000 subscribers.
-OptimizePress - Medium Cost - Website Hosting plus OptimizePress Significant Technical Ability

Create a List using MailChimp

MailChimp is free for up to 2,000 subscribers. So it is worth it to
create an account just to learn. Most other software has similar
functions so once you learn how MailChimp works you will be able to
apply this knowledge to other software.
Create a Sign Up Form in MailChimp
In this video lesson, you learn how to create the "OptIn" form. The webpage where someone can enter their name and email and join your list. Follow along.
Add your Logo and a Fancy Image to the top of your Sign Up FormLearn how to customize your webpage by adding an image at the top and your logo. This will make it look really nice.
