Our Journey Begins

Take moment to look around at the page. Above, you will see tabs for each step of the journey. Within each tab, is a video tour of the area, resources, and video lessons. Grab your binoculars, hat and sunscreen and open that Artist Treasure Map.Our first tour begins shortly, just click on the triangle in the window below.

P.S. Don't be shy, ask questions, comment on others postings and most importantly relax and have fun! We've never had anyone's arm chewed off for raising their hands... (ugh...shh...Bob...that was just a finger or two.)

Step 3

My Mother said, "Always say, Thank You!"

Ok maybe that was more of a shout.  In this case, yep it is a thank you page.  Once someone has completed the OptIn page, they are sent to a "Thank You" page and told that they should check their email and click the link to confirm their emails.  This is also a great opportunity to give your new friends an extra bonus, video introduction or some snippet of content.  It is also a good idea to remind them to put your email address on the safe senders list , or look in their spam folder for your email.

To complete setting up all of the parts you need for the signup process, list there are two more web page and email pairs that you need to create;

  1. Sign Thank You webpage and Confirm Subscription email
  2. Confirmation Thank You webpage and the Final Welcome email

This next lesson introduces you to the Thank You Page and the email you recieve to confirm your subscription.

Once someone has opened their email and click the button to confirm their subscription, they recieve a Thank You page, thanking them for their subscription as well as an email welcoming them to your list.  In your case you might welcome them to your newsletter, or community.  Watch the next video to learn how to create these pages.

Hooray!  If you are this far and you have created your own optin pages, thank you pages and emails, then you have done everything necessary to add people to your list and send all of the people in the list emails!  You should definitely take some time to celebrate!

Now take a break and come back to test the subscription process for your list and see what you would change in your messages.
