Welcome to the Jungle of Autoresponders. Autoresponders are emails that you set up in advance that will be sent to your list based on the number of days from the day that the person joined your list. For example if Cindi joined your list on January 1 and your autoresponder was set up to send 5 days after, then Cindi would receive the email from you on January 6.
Your goal in using autoresponders is to use them to communicate with your new community, generate a conversation, let them become acquainted with you, provide them with things that are interesting- for example, share a piece of your work that you like the most and explain why, talk about what inspires your work, and then as they get to know you provide different offfers or promotions to purchase your work.
There are lots of things you can do with autoresponders. Introduce your new tribe to your website, or portfolio and then include them in your regular emails, or hold a virtual show with your friends, or even combine it with a virtual event so that you can have the portrayed artists talk about their work.
You can also use autoresponders to:
-Create email courses that send people a new lesson each week or every few days.
-Create 30 days of inspirational messages with your art that are sent to your new subscribers via email for example.
